This Is Our Story

Born from our love of outdoor adventures and appreciation for the natural world. Co-founders, husband and wife duo, Squarl and Sara Ruth aim to provide visitors and locals with an exceptional and customizable outdoor experience for any skill level. 

Our 2- and 4-hour e-bike tours will introduce guests to the backroads of Nantahala National Forest in a new and sustainable way. Explore dense mountain forests, travel along rushing rivers, up to scenic overlooks all without the sound of an engine disturbing you or the wildlife along the way.

Squarl, nicknamed for the woodland animal but not spelled the same, is the bike/gear expert and tour guide. Having rode his road bicycle from Georgia to California in 2009, having towed his family along 525 miles of rails-to-trails, and with 14 years of outdoor guided trip experience, he is well suited to offer an exceptional experience for guests.
